Lloyds Banking Group denied a newspaper report on Monday that it is to start looking for a new headquarters in the City of London.
"We have no plans to look for a new London headquarters" the company said in an email to Reuters.
The Financial Times on Monday cited unnamed sources saying the bailed-out bank was also seeking to cut down on its corporate sites, reducing the number of its offices from about 300 to 150.
The FT said the bank planned to set up a series of regional hubs in Edinburgh, Manchester and London.
