Voice over Internet Protocol (Voice over IP, or VOIP) is a term that basically describes the delivery of your voice over the internet and can be used in much the same way as an everyday traditional telephone - but with additional features and benefits. You just need to have an ADSL connection, which can be either from a fixed landline or a wireless system.
Telitec's VOIP telephone service works in harmony with our wireless internet access service, so it offers our customers a great alternative to those without access to a landline and provides very competitive international call rates. Our clients have a choice of having either a local Spanish number, a local-rate 0845 UK number - or both.
* 0845 numbers allow friends and family to contact you from the UK for a cost of a local call.
* Local Spanish numbers include 200 FREE minutes per month to other European landlines

Another difference between Telitec VoIP and other similar services, such as Skype, is that we prioritise the call traffic from our clients to ensure that your receive the best possible call quality available.

In addition, our VoIP service offers FREE voicemail - so you never need to miss a call ! Also, you can have all of your voicemail messages re-directed to your emai, so you can easily pick up your messages when away from home. The message is sent as an audio attachment that you can listen to from any PC or laptop which can provide Audio.
*The 7-digit account number NOT the telephone number must be dialled in order to enjoy free calls between Telitec VoIP customers. Please also note that due to the nature of the way the VoIP system works, it is not possible to dial emergency service numbers. Therefore if you have a landline already we do not recommend the cancellation of a fixed landline telephone in favour of VoIP, merely a cheaper and more efficient way of making telephone calls. However, if you do not have the possibility of a a landline, then VoIP is a great alternative.
