Hundreds of participants took the streets of the capital on Sunday evening in protest against the reform of the Spanish Constitution.
The march began at 18.00hrs at Madrid's Attocha metro station and moved through the streets to the Puerta del Sol, which has become symbolic of the M-15 movement over the last few months.
This time the 'Indignados' protestors are calling for a referendum to be held ahead of the Constitution reform, which was possible due to an accord being found between the PP and the PSOE, is approved in Parliament.
The M-15 Protestors are concerned that the so-called 'express reform' will only 'impose the benefits of the few at the cost of the majority' with the 'excuse' of getting Spain's finances in order 'as dictated by the markets and conservative governments of European powers'.
They claim that a referendum would resolve the issue democratically, and maintain that the majority of citizens would vote against such a measure being implemented.
