Murcia's San Javier airport has recorded a total of 1,067,027 passengers over 2011 to date, representing a decrease of 6.2% over the same period in 2010, according to statistics released by AENA yesterday.
Additionally, the airport serviced fewer flights with just 10,360, operations in 2011 to date - a 6.6% decrease on the 13'474 flights handled in the same period in 2010, and a 15.3% decrease on the number of flights seen in 2009.
