Zapatero to attend prayer meeting in USA

The Spanish Prime Minister, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero will attend the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C. at the invitation of the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama.

The breakfast meeting has been held by the Conservative Christian Group, The Family, on every first Thursday in February since 1953.

Zapatero will be in the USA on the 3rd and 4th of February for a formal meeting with President Obama, attend the prayer breakfast.

Speaking in Vienna on Thursday, the Spanish Prime Minister said the event had ‘a very singular and significant relevance’.
