Spain's economy will grow by half a percentage point less in 2011 than previously forecast, Economy Minister Elena Salgado said on Thursday. "With regard to the forecast of 1.8 percent we have wanted to make a very conservative forecast. We have decided to reduce that forecast to 1.3 percent," Salgado told reporters.
She added that the government's forecast of a 0.3 percent contraction this year would not be changed.
