The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, Spanish : Agencia Española de Protección de Datos) has hit Google with a €300,000 ($347,835) fine.
The Government Authority sanctioned the global search engine for unlawfully harvesting email addresses, passwords and other personal data available through unsecured wireless networks as part of its Street View mapping program in 2010, the regulator said Tuesday.
