Orange Spain has announced that it has so far invested a total of EUR 65 million to bring 4G services to the city of Valencia and will spend another EUR 32 million over then next three years to further expand the technology.
The operator's 4G network is now available throughout Valencia city centre, as well as Manises airport, the Mestalla football stadium, the main shopping malls and the City of Arts and Sciences cultural and architectural complex.
The company said it will also be allocating a further EUR 2 million to bring its LTE-A technology – capable of delivering peaks speeds above 250 Mbps – to the city centre and main areas of interest.
