Next step for Paramount 6th Feb

Tue 10th Jan 2012

Despite a glut of speculative 'press releases' by local Real Estate Agents advising people of what they either already know or suspect, there has been little news forthcoming concerning the Paramount Pictures Theme Park project at Alhama de Murcia.

However, it is anticipated that on Monday the 6th of February 6, 2012, the public title deeds will be legally and officially granted and that the final payment will be made for the plot by Proyectos Emblemáticos Murcianos (PREMURSA) - the who have been issued with the licence to build the park by Paramount Pictures (Licencing) in the USA. The plot, which is located outside the town of Alhama de Murcia, covers a total area of 1,812,926.83 m(2); of Which 774,777.83 m(2) will be set aside for the construction of the theme park itself and the remainder being used for parking and for the 'Lifestyle Centre'.

It is believed that the contract will stipulate that the project must be completed by 2015.

Those who have not already done so may be interested in taking a look at the official video presentation of the park and it's facilities here >>>

According to Premursa the deal - which didn't go through on the 6th Feb - would go through 'in a month's time'... Well guess what Samper - you are almost out of time !

Hi Chris, I had a look at your website. Professional and clean. I am looking to invest in this area, due to the new theme park, new airport Corvera, and new cruise ships that are suppose to be passing through. Can you tell me if there are many rentals during the summer times in the isla plana, puerto mazarron area, mojon hills areas? Do you also manage properties?

Corey As the owner of the longest established Estate Agent close to the new Paramount theme park, I would be happy to advise you on investing in this area. Please feel free to contact me at: spanishproperty.co.uk

Thanks for this detailed report. I hope the deal does go through next month, since I am looking to invest in the area. I heard talks about a theme park being built in Malaga as well. Is there any truth to these talks?

Has the public title deeds been legally and officially granted and the final payment made for the plot by Proyectos Emblemáticos Murcianos (PREMURSA)?
