The Generalitat of Valencia has revised a number of contracts that have been awarded by Castellon Airport, which has been open for more than 12 months and yet to see it's first flight.
The regional minister for tourism, Lola Johnson, confirmed that Aerocas and the provincial government of Castellon are in the process of re-negotiating a number of contracts.
It was also confirmed how the salary of the airport of the director, Juan Garcia Salas will be reduced until the airport becomes operational.
Last year it was revealled how Salas is paid more than the Prime Minister , despite the airport being dormant.
With regards to the subject of finding potential buyers for the airport, Johnson commented that such a measure is not currently a consideration, but may be so in the future.
