There are a number of things to consider when relocating abroad, a specialist has said.
InternationalLiving.com executive editor Jennifer Stevens argued people ought to think about health insurance when moving to another country.
Furthermore, people should look into banking when setting up in foreign shores, she noted.
The specialist asked will the individual be planning to use bank cards while leaving their savings in their homeland, or will they want to open up another bank account ?
"You need to address that issue," she declared.
Other expatriates can be a good source of information, Ms Stevens declared, continuing: "Ask folks about the banking, how they handle your mail forwarding, whether it is worth bringing everything of your worldly possessions or not."
She noted that wherever a person is relocating abroad to, someone else has already moved to the nation beforehand.
Ms Stevens had previously recommended socialising with both native inhabitants and the expat community when moving to a new country.
