Earlier today Granada-Jaen's Federico Garcia Lorca Airport (FGL) welcomed the first flight from London, operated by BA.
This is the first time that BA have flown to FGL Airport since ceasing operations in October 2010, and was made possible due to a collaboration between AENA, the Granada Tourist Board, the Regional and Central Ministries of Tourism and Trade, and British Airways themselves.
BA will operate flights to London City Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (until August 29th), Fridays and Sundays. Although the flights will remain in place all year round, the frequencies will changes slightly for the winter months.
